The 2290 setting makes a great pure digital delay for crystal clean repeats. The various other settings also sound great, though I use tape and 2290 90% of the time. Aug 07, 2008 · my favourite reverse delay is the SMMw/H - others i've tried/owned were Boss DD-5 and -6, Danelectro Back Talk and TC Electronic D2. the Back Talk was pretty frustrating; it wasn't that good at making things sound backwards, but better suited for adding a strange rhythmic thing to what you play - if that makes sense.
